What It Is
The Genos R1 is a precision-built electric hyperkart. Not a novelty. Not a scaled-down toy dressed in automotive aesthetics. A real machine: designed from first principles, built around a real chassis, a real suspension architecture, and a real driving position.
We built the R1 because nothing like it existed.
There are karts that go fast. There are machines that look the part. But there was no manufactured, limited-production electric kart that treated the driver with the same seriousness that full-size performance cars have always demanded of their builders. No platform that delivered genuine engineering depth: the kind that comes from simulation, from prototype iteration, from track validation, at this scale.
That gap is what the Genos R1 is built to fill.
The Engineering
The R1 starts with a 4130 chromoly chassis: lightweight, torsionally rigid, and developed through simulation-driven structural analysis before a single physical part was cut. Finite element analysis confirmed load paths across braking, cornering, and acceleration. Then it went to the track. The chassis was validated in the real world, not just on a screen.
From there, the suspension architecture speaks for itself: double-wishbone geometry at every corner, dampening-adjustable coilovers, tunable spring rates, adjustable camber and ride height. This is a full-vehicle suspension platform, scaled for its envelope. Not simplified. Not approximated.
The drivetrain is brushless electric. Braking is hydraulic disc. The entire machine is built around a real loom, a real driving position, real control.
We call this scaled, not simplified. It is the engineering principle that defines every decision made on the R1.
The Build
Every Genos R1 begins the same way: with a design brief.
Before production opens on any unit, we work through your vision. The R1 ships in seven approved factory colors: Neo Crimson, Graphite Metallic, Black Pearl, Frost White, Zeon Forest Metallic, Lunar Silver, and Caspian Blue Metallic. Every build can be further personalized through paint and livery selection, interior fabric, forged wheel specification, and aero configuration.
From your brief, the build moves through 3D concept, FDM prototyping, and physical production. There is no off-the-shelf unit waiting in a warehouse. The R1 is manufactured to your specification, designed and built in the USA, and delivered worldwide.
